Goodyear Canada Guidelines for Corporate Donations
Goodyear Canada's Donation Fund contributes to a wide range of charitable programs with emphasis on communities where our employees live and work. In general, our fund contributes to organizations that support Health and Human Services, Education, Culture & the Arts, and Civic & Community initiatives.
Eligibility: Organizations seeking financial assistance from Goodyear Canada's Donation Fund must submit their request in writing. To be considered for support, applicants must be registered for income tax purposes, have a valid Canadian charitable registration number and be able to provide a charitable tax receipt for the full amount of any donation.
The Goodyear Canada Donations Fund does not usually support:
Individuals
Member agencies of the United Way
Churches/religious organizations
Political organizations
International organizations or those that direct aid outside Canada
Conferences, competitions, auctions, sponsorships or request for prizes
Submission Process:
The Donations Committee meets on a quarterly basis.

Materials will not be returned except upon request.
Organizations that are selected by the Committee will receive a confirmation letter and cheque. Due to the large number of requests, only those organizations that are selected for funding will be acknowledged. Decisions regarding funding requests can take up to four months.
