Cooper Discoverer Stronghold AT

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is conducting a voluntary recall for certain Cooper Discoverer Stronghold AT tires, size LT275/65R18 LR E, manufactured in the 5th week of 2025 (February 2 – February 8, 2025). If further assistance is required for any reason, including difficulty in obtaining free replacement tires, please contact the Customer Assistance Center, D728 at 200 Innovation Way, Akron, Ohio 44316, or by calling toll free 1-800-592-3267.

Recall Details

Certain Cooper Discoverer Stronghold AT tires, size LT275/65R18 LRE, from week 0525, were manufactured with the date code portion of the tire identification number (TIN) not meeting the regulatory requirement to show week and year. The subject non-compliant tires were produced with a blank slug installed in the Tire Identification Number (TIN) in place of the required week and year code (0525), as required per FMVSS 574. Only these specific tires (the “subject tires”) with noncompliant TINs are part of this recall.

Contact the Goodyear retailer where you purchased the tires or contact your nearest authorized Goodyear retailer. To find the nearest retailer, go to www.goodyear.com and enter your location information in the Dealer Locator tab or call 1-800-592-3267. The retailer will inspect the tires and let you know if they fall within the scope of this recall and therefore qualify for free replacement as part of this recall.

Affected Tires

Affected tires are those with the following Tire Identification Numbers found on the sidewall of the tires. Only tires with the DOT number below are being recalled.

Note: The subject non-compliant tires were produced with no week and year code on the white lettered side of the tire.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

The DOT or serial number begins with the letters "DOT" followed by a combination of numbers and letters up to 13 characters. You can find the DOT number on the sidewall of your tires as shown in the example. Do not include the letters "DOT" in the input box.

Please note, when some tires are mounted, the full DOT number will face the inside of your wheel well and not show on the exterior facing sidewall. Your dot code should be is 10-13 digits long with the last 4 digitas as numbers.
